Feed solids concentration, particle size distribution, specific gravity, viscosity, desired discharge dryness, available footprint, and operational goals all influence equipment selection.

When evaluating a new project, even basic information can be extremely valuable. Laboratory reports, photographs, videos, material safety data sheets, specific gravity measurements, solids percentages, particle size information, and estimated processing volumes can significantly reduce uncertainty during the engineering process. If representative samples are available, those can provide additional insight into the material's behavior.
