GN Inclined Plate Clarifier Delivered for Overseas Project

GN Solids has recently completed the fabrication of an inclined plate clarifier for an overseas customer requiring efficient solid–liquid separation within a limited footprint.

The inclined plate clarifier utilizes a multi-layer slant plate configuration to significantly increase effective settling area compared to a conventional sedimentation tank. This design is well suited for projects where a traditional settling basin is required, but available site area is constrained.

In addition to clarification, the system can be applied for the concentration of low-solids suspensions. The clarified overflow can be discharged or reused, while the concentrated underflow is directed downstream to primary dewatering equipment such as a decanter centrifuge, or screw press for further solids reduction.

• Municipal and industrial sludge thickening
• Process water clarification prior to reuse or discharge
