GN Mud Plant for OBM and WBM

GN Solids Control manufactures various mud plants based on customer’s demands. Liquid mud plant is mainly used to making new mud and treat dirty mud. As different customers may have different demands on the mud plant, so all the GN mud plant are tailored to meet customers’ specific demands. 

GN Solids Control manufactures rectangular tank and cylinder tank, which can be also assembled in a horizontal and vertical position. GN rectangular tanks are usually used as mixing tanks with mud agitators or treating tanks with shakers, decanter centrifuges or cuttings dryers. On the other side, GN cylinder tanks are mainly used as storage tanks for oil, water, base oil or brine. 

WBM, OBM or oil cuttings can be treated by GN Solids Control equipments when a frac tank is sent to the mud plant. In the treating area, the inside materials will be separated by GN Hi-G force shaker, decanter centrifuge or cuttings dryer. Clean mud will be sent to the OBM storage tank or WBM storage tank. 

GN Mixing Tanks and Inverting Mixing Tanks is used to mixing bentonize by using GN Double Jet Mixer. Sometimes, GN recommends using two centrifuge pump and one mud hopper in order to cut cost. GN Inverting Tanks can be divided into three compartments, every compartment is fixed with a mud agitator in order to have a evenly mud. 

Various volume GN storage tanks for oil, water, base oil and brine are using cylinder tanks. Most of the mud plants tend to use vertical mud tanks as they save a lot of working room. 

GN also manufactures fuel tanks and bulk silos tanks. All these tanks can be lifted for convenient moving. GN Solids Control always pay attention to the overall protection by using good quality paintings. Such as the brine tank, GN will use coating protection or fiber glass tank.
