GN Newly Developed Centrifugal Degasser or Atmospheric Degasser

As a leading separation manufacturer, GN Solids Control has been providing various leading solids control and waste management equipment and turnkey solutions. GN Solids just developed one new product: Centrifugal Degasser, also called Atmospheric Degasser. 

GN newly developed centrifugal degasser is GNLCQ300A, liquid flow is 300m3/h and the largest air flow capacity is 30m3/h. Compared to the Vacuum Degasser, GN centrifugal degasser has many advantages although the treating efficiency is almost the same which is above 80%.

GN Atmospheric Degasser takes small room as its structure is pretty compact. It’s more convenient to collect and discharge the vented air, no air and water separator is needed. Due to the small footprint of the centrifugal degasser, it’s much easier to assemble in the worksite. And the power consumption is way smaller than the large vacuum degasser. 

Now we have already received some orders on this centrifugal degasser, they are effectively used and meet customers’ treating demands. This centrifugal degasser is mainly composed by the following parts: transmission device, propeller, air flow frame and pipes, pressure unit, primary separation unit etc. When use GN centrifugal degasser, the primary separation unit and the straight shell should be under the level of the drilling mud.

With the fast rotating of the inside propeller driven by one main motor, drilling mud crawl along the inside wall, a vacuum room is occurred in the upper part. By using the help of the pressure unit, the air is easily to vent out. 

One primary separation unit is fixed in the bottom of the GN centrifugal degasser, large solids like chips or hairs can be removed before separated by the inside propeller. 

GN Centrifugal Degasser can be used for more areas to remove those harmful airs like H2S in the drilling mud compare to the vacuum degasser. Welcome to connect with us for more details.
