GN Solids Control has been providing whole oil sludge treating systems to global customers for many years. Until now, GN Solids Control equipment has been delivered to more than 72 countries and regions.
These weeks, GN Solids Control has finished manufacturing of one whole set Oil Sludge Treating System for a USA customer. It will be used to treat drill cuttings, refinery plant waste or oil tank bottom waste etc. Here are the main components:
1. Pre-Mixing Tank
Oil slurry is pumped by using a Vacuum Pump into GN pre-mixing heating tank. Chemicals and water are added to dilute the oil slurry. A submersible pump is used to suck the slurry and feed into floating tank.
2. Floating Tank
Here this floating tank is a sediment tank, solids, water and oil is separate into 3 layers. The top layer oil can be sucked by using a oil pump. Screw conveyor is fixed on the bottom of the floating tank.
3. Shaker and 2 Phase Centrifuge Skid
Shaker is the first phase separating equipment that helps to remove solids larger than 100microns. The first 2 phase centrifuge is used to treat liquid discharged from shaker. Centrifuge treated solids fall into the bottom tank, while the liquid part run into the backward tank for further treating. FYI, all the above tanks are fixed with heating pipes for better treating performance.
4. 2 Phase Centrifuge and 3 Phase Centrifuge Skid
Slurry is washed again by using the a second 2 phase centrifuge. Treated liquid is feed into a 3 phase disc-centrifuge to get clean water and oil.
5. Gravity Oil/Water Separator and Micro Bubble Treating Unit
In order to treat the solids has the oil less than 3% , and recovered oil around 2~3%,GN Solids Control also provides Gravity Oil/Water Separator and Micro Bubble Treating Unit.
6. Chemical Dosing Unit
4 sets of chemical tanks are storage in a standard container. There are 4 individual pipes that connect with each treating unit.
