GN Solids 750HP Workover Rig Solids Control System for China Oilfield Service Company

GN Solids Control has successfully delivered a complete 750HP workover rig solids control system to a well-known oilfield service company in China. The system is fully engineered and manufactured by GN Solids Control, including all key equipment such as mud tanks, shale shakers, mud cleaner, decanter centrifuge, centrifugal pumps, mud agitators, mixing hopper, and the explosion-proof electrical control system.

This solids control system includes one set of heavy-duty mud tank, which serves as the foundation for the fluid circulation system. Installed on the tank are two units of GNZS594K linear motion shale shakers. These shakers are highly efficient in removing large solids from drilling fluids and are designed for continuous operation under harsh workover rig environments.

A GNZS594K-2S12NK mud cleaner is included to perform both desanding and desilting functions. It combines the shale shaker deck with hydrocyclones to ensure effective separation of fine solids, significantly improving mud quality and reducing wear on downstream equipment.

To further enhance the fluid treatment process, one unit of GNLW452D decanter centrifuge is installed for barite recovery and removal of fine solids. This medium-speed centrifuge features a robust design, wear-resistant components, and reliable performance, making it ideal for workover applications where maintaining mud properties is essential.

In addition, the system includes GN centrifugal pumps for feeding cyclones and transferring fluids, GN mud agitators for tank stirring, and a mud mixing hopper for chemical dosing. The entire system is controlled by an advanced electrical control panel built to meet IECEx explosion-proof standards, ensuring safe operation in hazardous oilfield conditions.

All equipment is manufactured at GN’s own facility under strict quality control, ensuring reliability, compatibility, and long service life. This project showcases GN Solids Control’s strong manufacturing capabilities and its deep experience in designing customized solids control systems for the oil and gas industry.
