GN Solids Control shipped a complete dewatering system to an international company.
As one of the major manufacturers for equipment of solids control, separation and conveying, GN Solids Control also provide dewatering system for hydrovac evacuation slurry treatment. Such equipment protects environment by separating solids from slurry and provides clear water. Solids can be used to refill hydrovac openings and water can be use as usual, in addition to hydrovac evacuation.
Dewatering system by GN Solids Control is based on the solids control technology it accumulates in the past years. However GN Solids Control also develops new technologies to accommodate new challenges in the treatment of hydrovac slurry treatment.
In the solid control of oil and gas drilling, GN Solids Control acquires good technologies.
Drilling cuts from oil and gas drilling are heavy. GN Solids Control developed strong technology to manufacture robust shale shakers to withstand super heavy dynamic load, along with strong resistance to sharp cuttings.
For decanter centrifuge, GN Solids Control manufactures decanter centrifuge using duplex stainless steel which is twice as strong as stainless steel 316. Centrifugal casting is also used to manufacturing rotating bowl of decanter centrifuge and other components with uniform mass distribution. GN Solids Control also obtained design technique to make its decanter centrifuges optimized for dewatering.
In addition to the technology obtained through solids control of oil and gas, GN Solids Control also developed new technology for the treatment of hydrovac slurry.
The first technology is wear-resistant pumps, such as centrifugal pumps and vertical slurry pump. This effectively increases service life of pumps and the trouble-free operation of dewatering system.
Another technology is in screen. GN worked out special screen for the “soft” material such as grasses.
GN Solids Control also came up with new control technologies on decanter centrifuge, which can dynamically monitors the operation of decanter centrifuge and adjust operation parameters for optimized dewatering.
