GNLW364 Decanter Centrifuges Headed Overseas

This week we completed a batch of GNLW364 decanter centrifuges for an overseas wastewater treatment company.

The 364 frame is a 14 inch class machine that fits a very specific lane. It is not a small lab unit, and it is not a massive 30 inch municipal workhorse. It sits right in the middle where many municipal and light industrial plants actually operate.

Waste Activated Sludge is not glamorous. It is inconsistent, biologically active, and changes with every rain event. If the torque curve is wrong or the differential speed control is unstable, operators feel it immediately.

These units are configured with electric main and back drives, VFD controlled differential speed, and wear protection where it matters. The goal is stable cake discharge and predictable maintenance, not just a number on a data sheet. A centrifuge in this size range is often replacing an aging European machine or supplementing an overloaded dewatering line.

If your facility is evaluating sludge dewatering equipment, start with real operating data. Flow rate, feed solids percentage, target cake dryness, and footprint constraints will tell you more than marketing literature ever will.
