Multiple Drilling Mud Solids Control Centrifuge Systems Delivered to Overseas Drilling Companies

GN Solids Control has recently completed the delivery of multiple drilling mud solids control centrifuge systems to overseas drilling service companies for different drilling applications, including mineral core drilling, oil & gas drilling, and HDD mud recycling projects.

For mineral exploration core drilling projects, GN supplied two sets of diesel engine driven hydraulic decanter centrifuges model GNLW223D-FHD. The GNLW223D-FHD centrifuge is specially designed for remote drilling locations where electric power is limited or unavailable. Equipped with a diesel engine and hydraulic drive system, the centrifuge offers flexible operation, compact structure, and stable performance in harsh field environments. It is widely used in mineral exploration drilling projects for efficient drilling mud recycling and solids removal.

For an overseas oil drilling contractor, GN provided one set of GNLW363D-VFD decanter centrifuge system. The GNLW363D-VFD is a variable frequency drive centrifuge designed for barite recovery and fine solids separation in oilfield drilling fluids. The VFD control system allows operators to adjust bowl speed and differential speed according to different drilling conditions, improving drilling fluid performance and reducing waste disposal costs.

In addition, GN also delivered one set of GNZS593 shale shaker together with one set of GNLW363D centrifuge for a horizontal directional drilling (HDD) mud treatment project. The GNZS593 shale shaker is used as the primary solids control equipment to remove coarse particles, while the centrifuge further separates ultra-fine solids from the drilling mud to maintain stable mud properties during HDD operations.
