Oil Contaminated Soil Washing and Separation Equipment for Middle East Customer

GN Solids Control recently shipped one soil washing and separation system to a customer in Middle East for oil contaminated soil.

People has been developing crude oil from underground reservoirs for a long time. It is inevitable that crude oil can fall onto the ground and contaminate soil.

For instance, in the drilling process of oil wells, crude oil can come out from the drilling process and flow onto farmland. In the production process, oil can leak from the production pipeline and contaminate surrounding area. In the well service process, oil can come out of oilwell and pour down to the wellsite. If the oilwells are in the lake, it is even worse, oil spill can flow everywhere and contaminate anything they encounter – live or not.

In the past it is difficult to deal with such kind of contamination because of the limitation in technology, and the attention people had on the pollution.

As technology advances, GN Solids Control pioneered in the development of technology to process oil contaminated soil. The result is the treatment system for oil contaminated soil.

The key specification of the treatment system of oil contaminated soil is that, for oil phase with no more than 3% water content, water which can be reused, and solids with no more than 2% oil content.
