Shale Shakers and Vacuum Degassers for 2000HP Drilling Rig to Europe

GN Solids Control has recently delivered a complete solids control equipment package for a 2000HP drilling rig operating in Europe. The shipment includes three GNZS594K shale shakers, one GNZJ594K-3S16N mud cleaner, one GNZCQ360 vacuum degasser, and one GNLW363D decanter centrifuge. This combination provides reliable and efficient drilling fluid treatment for high-performance deep drilling operations.

The three GNZS594K linear-motion shale shakers serve as the primary solids control stage. Known for their strong vibration force, stainless-steel shaker deck, and quick screen replacement system, these shakers effectively remove large solids and protect downstream equipment. Their compact design and high processing capacity make them ideal for rigs with demanding flow rates

The GNZJ594K-3S16N mud cleaner integrates a desander, desilter, and a bottom shaker into one compact unit. Equipped with three 10-inch desander cones and sixteen 4-inch desilter cones, it efficiently removes medium and fine solids from the drilling fluid. The underflow shaker recovers valuable fluids and reduces waste, improving overall mud system efficiency.

To ensure safe and stable drilling fluid properties, the GNZCQ360 vacuum degasser removes entrained gas from the drilling mud before it reaches the cyclones. Its self-contained vacuum design requires no additional pump, reducing maintenance needs. Efficient gas removal helps maintain proper mud density and prevents issues related to gas-cut mud during drilling.

The GNLW363D decanter centrifuge is used as the final fine solids removal stage. With a 360mm bowl and high rotational speed, it separates ultra-fine particles and maintains the proper mud weight and viscosity. Built with high-strength materials and protective wear parts, it provides long-term reliability in harsh drilling environments.
